The Kaliningrad-based Avtotor plant has created a website for its new Eonyx brand of electric vehicles. Two models are presented: the M2 passenger car and the Profi / Cargo truck. The cars have roots in China.
Eonyx electric vehicles were first shown at the Baltic Cup martial arts festival in Kaliningrad. Their production will begin before the end of this year. The new products belong to the L7 class and have a design similar to the Mini. Originally, they are called Sunshine EEC and are practically no different from Chinese counterparts.
The cars will be intended for city services, delivery, and work in industrial areas. The cars can be useful in recreational areas and on hotel grounds.
The assembly of the first models takes place on the plant's pilot production line. In the future, it is planned to launch a new plant with a capacity of 50,000 electric vehicles per year, which will begin operations in 2025. The new plant's equipment will include robotic lines and automated systems.
