Quadcopters are assembled at the Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant

Omani authorities have expressed interest in joint drone production with Russia. This became known during negotiations between the Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan, Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, and the Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Oman, Qais al-Yousef.

According to the press service of the Dagestan government, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of industry and trade.

 We are ready not only to increase exports, but also to explore the possibility of creating joint industrial enterprises in Oman.

Representatives of Oman expressed interest in cooperating with Dagestan in the development of unmanned aerial systems, the press service added.

In February 2023, the first quadcopter drone was assembled at the Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant. Most of the components are of Russian production. The UAV can be used for military and civilian purposes. The plant management planned to start mass production of these aircraft.
