Каждый третий россиянин готов отказаться от личного авто из-за проблем с парковкой

More than 40% of Russians do not have access to underground parking

More than a third of Russians are ready to give up their personal car in favor of public transport or car sharing, primarily due to parking problems.

According to a study by the development company "SK10", 13.9% of respondents would choose car sharing, and 27.8% would choose public transport. However, 58.3% of respondents are not ready to part with their own car, despite the difficulties with parking and other inconveniences.

In addition, an important problem for Russian car owners is the lack of underground parking. The survey says that 39.4% of respondents have one car, 27.8% have two, and 32.8% have more than two. However, the infrastructure is not keeping pace with the growth in the number of cars: 53.3% of study participants stated that there are no underground parking lots in their homes.

Only 17.8% of respondents have their own parking space, and only 5.6% are seriously planning to buy one. For 23.3%, the cost of underground parking is too high for them to afford such a purchase.

Residents of large cities also face a shortage of parking spaces in the courtyards, especially in the evening, which is a problem for 28.9% of respondents. Additionally, many complain about the lack of security and cameras, the risk of damage to the car, and the lack of canopies.
