AvtoVAZ plans to raise prices for Lada cars from May 12 due to rising production costs and inflation. This was reported by the Togliatti car dealership "Kupi-Ladu."
According to dealers, Niva Travel will increase in price by 28 thousand, Lada Granta by 25 thousand rubles, Lada Vesta by 37 thousand, Niva Legend by 34 thousand. The average increase across the model range will be about 35 thousand rubles.
AvtoVAZ has not officially commented on the information yet, but the company's management did not rule out a possible price indexation in 2025.
Previous price adjustments were related to improved configurations, but now the changes will affect most versions. This is the second price increase in 2025, which may be due to rising costs for components and logistics.
As a result, the base Lada Granta will cost from 775 thousand rubles, and the top version up to 1.294 million rubles. Lada Vesta will rise in price to 1.277–2.003 million rubles, Niva Travel to 1.342–1.667 million rubles, and Niva Legend to 1.093–1.246 million rubles.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the annual production of Lada Iskra has decreased threefold.
