AvtoVAZ has reduced the production plan for Lada Iskra for 2025 to 20,000 cars. This was reported by the insider Telegram channel "AvtoPotok".
Initially, it was reported that AvtoVAZ planned to produce 40-60 thousand Lada Iskra per year. However, then the head of the auto giant, Maxim Sokolov, noted that the current market situation does not require such a volume, according to him, "at the moment the market simply does not need so much." It is not yet known exactly how many cars the plant will now produce.
Production of the new product started on April 19 at the plant in Togliatti, but in April, according to sources, only 59 cars were produced from the plant. The model is produced at the plant in Togliatti, where the production volume can reach 150,000 units per year.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Lada Vesta overtook Granta in profitability.
