Armored personnel carriers with anti-drone "mangal" were spotted at a parade rehearsal in Minsk. Footage of the combat vehicles appeared online.

Belarusian BTR-82As also received lattice screens to protect the hull and turret from cumulative weapons. The turrets and the upper part of the hull were covered with anti-drone "mangals". Modernized BTR-70s were also equipped with lattice screens.

The four-axle floating BTR-82A is armed with a machine gun and a 30 mm 2A72 automatic cannon. The vehicle received a 300 hp diesel engine, which provides a maximum speed of up to 80 km/h.

Main characteristics of the BTR-82A:

  • Type - amphibious wheeled armored wheeled, four-axle with all driving wheels
  • Weight - no more than 16 tons
  • Combat crew - 10 people
  • Wheel formula - 8x8
  • Maximum ground clearance - 475 mm
  • Transmission - mechanical, stepped
