The combat vehicle was protected with untwisted cables welded to the hull

Russian soldiers have equipped a BMP-2M infantry fighting vehicle with a very unusual structure of steel cables to protect against kamikaze drones. The footage went viral on social media.

Russian soldiers equipped the BMP-2M with an anti-drone "hedgehog"

The vehicle received a standard set of additional protection, which consists of lattice screens, additional armor, and an anti-drone "barbecue" on the roof of the turret.

The soldiers equipped the BMP with a "hedgehog" made of untwisted cables, which they welded to the "barbecue" and the hull. According to the idea, this design can increase the vehicle's protection against FPV drones.

The BMP-2M also received a Berezhok combat module with a 30 mm automatic cannon, an automatic grenade launcher, a machine gun, and Kornet anti-tank missiles. The module is equipped with modern sights.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russian strike unmanned boats will be armed with Skvorets-VMF kamikaze drones.
