The crew of the Baltic Fleet's high-speed landing craft "Alexey Barinov" Project 11770 code "Serna" destroyed training naval surface and aerial targets during the completion of a training task.
During the execution of combat training tasks, the landing craft crew conducted training exercises on loading equipment from the coastline, after which they transferred combat equipment to the island's coast in the Baltic Sea.
During the sea passage, the crew performed various elements of naval maneuvering under the threat of the simulated enemy's use of weapons, and also conducted firing at naval surface and aerial targets. Fire was conducted from large-caliber KPVT machine guns.
In order to create an environment as close as possible to combat conditions, the landing craft maneuvered at maximum possible speeds — more than 30 knots (about 60 km/h).
