Crabber "Kapitan Skovpen" Successfully Completes Sea Trials in the Gulf of Finland

The CCa5712P project vessel passed tests for maneuverability, running and seaworthiness characteristics

In St. Petersburg, on April 26, the sea trials of the crab processor "Kapitan Skovpen" of project CCa5712P were successfully completed.

The tests were conducted in the Gulf of Finland, near Hogland Island. During the checks, the delivery team assessed the operation of all systems and mechanisms of the vessel, as well as its compliance with the declared maneuvering, running and seaworthiness characteristics.

"Kapitan Skovpen" became the last vessel in a series of three processors built at the Oka shipyard by order of the "Русский Краб" Group. The first two crabbers — "Kapitan Manzholin" and "Kapitan Dudnik" — have already been put into operation.

Vessels of the CCa5712LS series can transport up to 120 tons of live crab in nine specially equipped tanks with a capacity of 640 cubic meters of sea water. Each tank is equipped with an Everflo system, which maintains the required temperature and cleans the water, ensuring proper conditions for transporting live crab.
