At the "Electrotrans" exhibition in Moscow, AvtoVAZ presented a prototype of the electric sedan Lada e-Aura.
It is a fully electric version of the Lada Aura business sedan, which debuted in November 2024. The e-Aura prototype retains the recognizable Aura design but has an electric motor.
Externally, the Lada e-Aura is almost identical to the gasoline version, except for the nameplates and radiator grille, which indicate electrification.
Unlike the standard Lada Aura, the interior of the electric version of the sedan has a different design and color scheme. The rear of the seats is upholstered in red leather, and between them is a console with an armrest and touch panels.
The press service of AvtoVAZ informed Izvestia about the exact characteristics of the electric sedan. The Lada e-Aura is equipped with a synchronous electric motor with a peak power of 163 hp (240 Nm). On a single charge, the car is capable of traveling 350 km, and the maximum speed is 150 km/h. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes only 8 seconds. The battery capacity is 56 kWh. In terms of power plant, the e-Aura is an analogue of the Lada e-Largus.
Compared to the gasoline Aura sedan, the Lada e-Aura accelerates 4.5 seconds faster. However, the regular sedan has a higher top speed. The electric version has a curb weight of 1450 kg, which is 50 kg more than the gasoline analogue.
The list of equipment includes interior trim made of genuine leather, heated seats, steering wheel, windshield and nozzles, a multimedia system with Yandex services and navigation displayed on the instrument panel, eight speakers, front and side airbags, LED optics, blind spot monitoring system and other options.
