Experimental wheeled launcher Br-1555-1 / range mock-up of the launcher (1991) - the development of self-propelled unit prototypes was carried out by TsKB Titan.

The prototype of the two-missile launcher Br-1555-1 was developed on the basis of the BAZ-69501 chassis by 1991. At site 4C of the Kapustin Yar missile range in the summer of 1991, several drop launches were carried out from the unit, including salvo two-missile launches.

The development of the launcher on the BAZ-69501 chassis was not completed. At the same time, it was initially believed that there was a separate range mock-up launcher, but, as it turned out, this is not true.

About the Iskander-M:

The Iskander-M is used to destroy enemy air defense systems, as well as other important objects at a maximum range of up to 500 km.

At a speed of about 950–1150 m/s, the Iskander-M warhead can penetrate soft ground by tens of meters. When it hits a building, the missile is capable of penetrating concrete floor slabs and exploding inside the protected room.
