A scientific consortium for the protection of the atmosphere from pollution has been established in Russia. The agreement on its creation was signed by "VNII Ecology" (part of the Ministry of Natural Resources), NII "Atmosphere," and a number of other industry organizations at the "Atmosphere-2025" congress.
The director of VNII "Ecology," Alexander Zakondyrin, stated that the consortium will unite experts with extensive experience in solving air protection problems. Specialists will provide high-quality expert opinions for the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia.
The list of approved methodologies that have undergone examination should be constantly updated. The real sector of the economy urgently needs this today.
The consortium will be engaged in the scientific and methodological support of air pollution calculations, emission quotas, and the development of automatic control systems at enterprises.
