KAMAZ has successfully tested its flagship KAMAZ-54901 truck tractor of the new K5 model range. This was reported by the manufacturer's press service.
The test drive of the car was carried out in the transport company "KSV Cargo".
Under the hood of the new generation tractor is a six-cylinder in-line engine with a capacity of 482 hp, paired with a 12-speed robotic gearbox. KAMAZ-54901 has a spacious cabin with a flat floor, an on-board information system with a 15.6-inch touch screen, as well as a multi-steering wheel with cruise control.
The use of modern high-tech design solutions has made it possible to increase the service interval to 120 thousand km, and the engine life to 1.5 million km, while reducing fuel consumption by 10% compared to previous generation cars.
KAMAZ-54901 overcame 15 kilometers, showing excellent dynamics and smooth running. The comfortable cabin, modern control system and fuel efficiency received positive evaluations.
