Russian BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles in service with the army of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have received new combat modules as part of their modernization.
The vehicle was shown during a visit to the headquarters of the reserve forces command by the Crown Prince of Dubai. He was shown various equipment of the fifth mechanized brigade, including the BMP-3 with the DVK-30 combat module of Slovak production.
The module with a machine gun and an automatic cannon with a caliber of 30 millimeters was installed instead of the standard armament complex of the BMP-3, consisting of a 100 mm caliber gun, an automatic cannon, and a machine gun.
