Sales of Lada Granta in Russia have fallen significantly: in the first quarter of 2025, the average monthly sales volume was 10.5 thousand cars, while in the second half of 2024 it exceeded 17.5 thousand.
Regional dealers have already accumulated stocks for three months ahead, but AVTOVAZ continues to ship, ignoring the decline in demand.
Dealers cite the cancellation of the possibility to combine factory discounts with benefits under the state program as the main reason for the decline, which previously made Granta particularly affordable. This option was recently returned for Vesta — and sales went noticeably more active. An additional burden on the market is created by resellers who receive cars with fake certificates of participants in the special military operation and then sell them cheaper than official dealers.
