The first Center of Industry Expertise in Electrical Engineering in the country has been established in the Chuvash Republic at Sberbank. The initiative aims to support enterprises that produce equipment for relay protection, automation, and process control systems. Chuvashia produces about 60% of such products in Russia, making the region a key player in the industry.
The center will become a platform for comprehensively addressing the challenges faced by electrical engineering companies. According to Anastasia Trutneva, manager of Sberbank's Chuvash branch, the goal is to ensure mutual understanding between the bank's divisions and its clients, as well as a deep understanding of the industry's specifics. We are creating a team that will not only offer financial solutions but also use digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, to develop competitive products.
The project was implemented through a partnership between Sberbank, Chuvash State University, and the "InTEK" Association. Bank employees have already completed training in the "Introduction to Electric Power and Electrical Engineering" program, which will allow them to better understand the needs of enterprises.
The agreement is a new stage in our relationship, which will allow us to more successfully solve the problems of developing the strongest relay engineering and electrical engineering cluster both in Chuvashia and beyond.
Alexander Danilov, Executive Director of the "InTEK" Association, noted that financial assistance is needed for the development of industry. The center will help strengthen the industry's position and bring Russian technologies to the world stage.
The opening of the Center of Industry Expertise is an important step in the development of the electrical engineering industry in Russia. The synergy of banking services, science, and production can accelerate import substitution and increase the competitiveness of domestic solutions.
