During the execution of tasks at sea, the crews of the Baltic Fleet ships practiced anti-submarine actions — conducted exercises to search for, detect, maintain contact and track, as well as counter a mock enemy submarine with the practical use of anti-submarine weapon systems.

During the maneuvers, the ships successfully classified the target and conditionally destroyed it with the help of anti-submarine weapons. During the exercise, the crews of the anti-submarine ships carried out a set of practical firing exercises with RBU-6000 rocket launcher systems, and also practiced the conditional use of torpedo weapons. A "Varshavyanka"-type submarine acted as the mock enemy submarine.
