An underwater tug with a virtually silent electric motor has been developed at the Baltic Higher Naval School named after Ushakov. The device looks like a cylinder no more than 10 cm high and 30 cm in diameter. In full gear, it weighs three kilograms.
The battery charge is enough for the tug to operate for about two hours. The device is equipped with a large propeller that drives it.
It is most suitable for combat swimmers from units countering sabotage forces and means (PDSS), and can also be used in surface and underwater robotics. The tug allows you to develop a speed of four knots (7.4 km/h).
