The Baltic Naval Institute named after Ushakov has developed an underwater tug with a virtually silent electric motor. The device looks like a cylinder no more than 10 cm high and 30 cm in diameter. When fully equipped, it weighs three kilograms.
The battery charge is enough for the tug to operate for about two hours. The device is equipped with a large propeller that drives it.
It is most suitable for combat swimmers from counter-sabotage forces and assets (PDSS) units, and can also be used in surface and underwater robotics. The tug allows you to develop a speed of four knots (7.4 km/h).
