Approximate Production Volume of the Latest Su-34M Fighters in Russia Revealed

The Aerospace Forces May Receive Up to 20 Combat Aircraft per Year

Russian military aircraft factories can produce up to 20 advanced fourth-generation Su-34M (Su-34NVO) fighters annually. This was reported by the "Technosphere Russia" portal.

The authors noted that, according to various unconfirmed assumptions, the Su-34M is currently being mass-produced at a rate of 15-20 aircraft per year. However, since 2022, these statistics have not been published in the channels of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and official media.

The Chkalov Novosibirsk Aviation Plant handed over another batch of new Su-34M combat aircraft to the Russian Aerospace Forces on April 19, 2025. This is the first delivery of front-line bombers in 2025.

Last year, the plant sent only 6 batches of Su-34M to their place of service — official data on the number of aircraft transferred were not published.

The head of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), Vadim Badeha, noted that the production volume of the Su-34 bomber has more than doubled in two years. He also did not name the exact figures.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the latest Orbita drone control system will allow strikes on targets from anywhere in the world.
