Russia Creates the Newest "Yamshchik" Logistics Drone with Drone Self-Defense Option

The main innovation of the platform is long-range interference-resistant communication

Specialists from NPO Kilovatt have developed the Yamshchik unmanned logistics system with a drone self-defense option. The complex consists of a ground robotic complex, an on-board drone defense station, and long-range interference-resistant communication, said company representative Alexander Chirkov.

The main innovation of the platform is long-range interference-resistant communication that can receive a control signal. Radio-electronic warfare (EW) stations operating nearby will not be able to interfere with Yamshchik.

"Yamshchik" can travel up to 5 km over rough terrain, and up to 20 kilometers with battery replacement points and communication repeaters.

During movement between intermediate points, the total logistics leg becomes very significant. At the same time, one control point is capable of coordinating the work of up to ten platforms.
