The vessel has a power of 7 MW, a length of 86 meters, a width of 19 meters, and a speed of 15 knots. The "Kerch Strait" is designed for patrolling, duty, and assisting distressed vessels with the evacuation of people.
The tugboat can operate on the routes of the Northern Sea Route. The start of mooring trials is scheduled for May 2025.
