Russian specialists have significantly increased the accuracy of hitting targets with FAB aerial bombs equipped with universal planning and correction modules (UMPC). This was reported by the Telegram channel "Russian Weapon."
This became possible through the use of modernized radio navigation antenna modules "Kometa-M" and 15-channel CRPA with an increased level of interference protection.
The digital antenna array of "Kometa-M" is shielded from the lower hemisphere, which provides protection against radiation from ground-based electronic warfare systems.
Also, in the digital antenna array "Kometa", instead of one antenna element, there are four, which allows it to receive spatial information about the direction of arrival of interfering radiation and its compensation.
Field experiments have shown that "Kometa" withstands an interference level 100,000 times greater than that of a conventional receiver.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a flying air defense system with a recoilless shotgun for combating UAVs has been developed in Russia, and test footage has appeared.
