Солнце «выстрелило» тремя мощными вспышками класса М за два часа

The source of the disturbances was a group of spots on the western edge of the solar disk

On the afternoon of April 12, three powerful class M flares occurred on the sun. This was reported by the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of IKI and ISZF.

The source of the flares was spot group No. 4055 on the western edge of the solar disk. The flares will not have a strong impact on the Earth's magnetosphere. But scientists will be able to observe beautiful prominences and ejections on the edge of the Sun's disk.

Spot group No. 4055 is comparable in size to the largest planet in the solar system — Jupiter. There is a possibility that it will be visible even with the naked eye at sunset or sunrise.

Earlier www1.ru reported that a class M flare was also noticed on the Sun on Saturday morning.
