The "Rosel" holding (part of the Rostec State Corporation) has begun developing onboard television system equipment for the Russian Orbital Station under construction. The created line of devices includes 2K and 4K resolution cameras, as well as information conversion, encoding, and decoding units.
The devices will provide high-quality images both inside and outside the station. At the same time, the cameras will be able to operate in various lighting conditions, even in very bright light. Images will be transmitted to Earth in high quality due to new specialized encoding and decoding units.
The system has unique characteristics and technical capabilities. Their combination has no analogues in existing global space projects.
Rostec added that the multitasking is an advantage of the television system. Information from several sources will be displayed on one screen, and real-time video transmission will also be available, which will allow the crew to quickly respond to changes and conduct video conferences to coordinate actions.
