Specialists of the United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of Rostec) have completed testing of the second prototype of the latest AL-41ST-25 industrial engine, manufactured at the UEC-UMPO enterprise in Ufa.
The power unit has repeatedly confirmed the set parameters and characteristics in all operating modes. The second AL-41ST-25 will be installed at a compressor station in Tatarstan.
As part of the gas pumping unit, the first prototype of the engine is already operating there and showing reliable performance, its operating time has exceeded 2,430 hours. AL-41ST-25 is a fully domestic industrial engine that will replace foreign analogues in the fuel and energy sector.
The engine has a capacity of 25 MW and is characterized by increased efficiency, environmental friendliness and reliability. Moreover, the engine surpasses many analogues in efficiency - the calculated efficiency is 39.1% with the possibility of a phased increase to 40%.
