Specialists of the United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of Rostec) have completed testing of the second prototype of the latest AL-41ST-25 industrial engine, manufactured at the UEC-UMPO enterprise in Ufa.
The power unit has repeatedly confirmed the specified parameters and characteristics in all operating modes. The second AL-41ST-25 will be installed at a compressor station in Tatarstan.
The first prototype of the engine is already operating as part of a gas pumping unit there and demonstrates reliable operation, its operating time has exceeded 2,430 hours. AL-41ST-25 is a fully domestic industrial engine that will replace foreign analogues in the fuel and energy complex.
The engine has a capacity of 25 MW and is distinguished by increased efficiency, environmental friendliness and reliability. Moreover, the engine surpasses many analogues in efficiency - the calculated efficiency is 39.1% with the possibility of a phased increase to 40%.
