Specialists of the United Engine Corporation (ODK, part of Rostec) completed testing of the second prototype of the newest industrial engine AL-41ST-25, manufactured at the Ufa enterprise "ODK-UMPO".
The power unit has repeatedly confirmed the set parameters and characteristics in all operating modes. The second AL-41ST-25 will be installed at a compressor station in Tatarstan.
The first prototype of the engine is already operating as part of a gas pumping unit there and shows reliable operation, its operating time has exceeded 2,430 hours. AL-41ST-25 is a completely domestic industrial engine that will replace foreign analogues in the fuel and energy complex.
The engine has a power of 25 MW and is characterized by increased efficiency, environmental friendliness and reliability. Moreover, the engine surpasses many analogues in efficiency - the estimated efficiency is 39.1% with the possibility of a phased increase to 40%.
