These Aurus Senat cars may be assembled at the former Toyota plant: an updated version of the car was spotted on the streets of Moscow

The car received a fresh design, matrix optics and an aluminum hood

Road tests of the updated version of the Aurus Senat sedan, developed by FSUE "NAMI", have begun in Moscow. One of the car prototypes, hidden under a camouflage film, was spotted near the television center.

The car received a number of visual and technical improvements, including new bumpers, a modified radiator grille, modernized optics with matrix headlights and an aluminum hood. The interior has also been updated, making it more comfortable.

In technical terms, there have been no changes: the car is still equipped with a hybrid power plant, combining a 4.4-liter V8 engine and an electric motor. All this works in tandem with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

In St. Petersburg, they are planning to restart the Toyota plant, which previously belonged to the Japanese automaker. Job postings for a new assembly site have already been posted on one of the job search platforms - it is there, presumably, that the assembly of Aurus cars may begin.
