The frigate of the Northern Fleet "Admiral Golovko", as part of the tasks of a long voyage, made a business call at the port of Alexandria of the Arab Republic of Egypt. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The ship will stay in the port of Alexandria for several days, during which the crew will replenish supplies of food and fresh water.
The personnel will have the opportunity to rest from the long ocean passage while docked at the pier.
The frigate "Admiral Golovko" set off on a long voyage in November 2024, during which time the ship traveled about 27 thousand nautical miles. The main task of the voyage is to demonstrate the flag and ensure a naval presence in operationally important areas of the World Ocean.
