The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has filed a lawsuit against the company "Central Marine Design Bureau (CMDB) Almaz" to recover a penalty of more than 11.5 million rubles.
The Arbitration Court of the city of Moscow has decided to accept the plaintiff's statement of claim for consideration. The court hearing is scheduled for May 13.
The company "Central Marine Design Bureau Almaz" is a leading Russian designer of high-speed boats, landing and combat surface ships, as well as mine defense ships.
The most significant modern development of CMDB is the project of the 20380 guard ship, code "Steregushchy".
The armament of Project 20380 ships includes launchers for Uran or Kalibr-NK anti-ship missiles, an anti-aircraft missile system, artillery mounts, machine gun mounts, and grenade launchers. They have anti-torpedo and anti-submarine protection.
