The Ministry of Defense Sued the Central Marine Design Bureau "Almaz" –– Designer of Corvettes of the "Steregushchy" Type with "Caliber" and "Uran"

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has filed a lawsuit against the company "Central Marine Design Bureau (CMDB) "Almaz" to recover a penalty of more than 11.5 million rubles.

The Arbitration Court of the city of Moscow decided to accept the statement of claim from the plaintiff for proceedings. The court hearing is scheduled for May 13.

The company "Central Marine Design Bureau "Almaz" is a leading Russian designer of high-speed boats, landing and combat surface ships, as well as mine defense ships.

The most significant modern development of CMDB is the project of the 20380 guard ship, code "Steregushchy".

The armament of the ships of Project 20380 includes launchers of anti-ship missiles "Uran" or "Caliber-NK", an anti-aircraft missile system, artillery installations, machine-gun installations and grenade launchers. They have anti-torpedo and anti-submarine protection.
