At the same time, the tanks are equipped with 2A46M-2 guns, the charging chambers of which are not adapted to the use of armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot projectiles ZBM59 "Svinets" and ZBM60 "Svinets-2" with armor penetration of 730 - 780 mm.

Kinetic shells "Vant" and "Mango" with armor penetration of 560 and 500 mm, respectively, are used at a distance of 2000 m.

This vehicle is used primarily as a "roaming" 125-mm gun, the crew of which operates with high-explosive fragmentation shells ZOF26 from closed positions.
