The defense plant "Remdiesel", closely cooperating with KamAZ, is working on creating a full-size off-road pickup truck that closely resembles the Chinese DongFeng Warrior M600.
The new model, designed for operation in harsh conditions, is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine with a capacity of 163 hp with a torque of 380 Nm.
The car will have all-wheel drive and a 6-speed gearbox. Its maximum payload will be 800 kg, while the towing capacity will reach 3 tons. The design includes ABS, EBD and ESP systems, and the interior has a modern multimedia system with a 10-inch screen.
The project, presented in the patent, demonstrates a clear resemblance to the Chinese DongFeng Warrior M600, which emphasizes the focus on high cross-country ability and reliability of the vehicle in extreme conditions. While the development remains at the patent application stage, the plant continues to work on improving the model to provide the highest quality and versatile product for the off-road pickup market.
