Eight-rotor drones appeared in service with the Russian army: our answer to "Baba Yaga"

Agricultural UAVs can carry out remote mining

Departments of agricultural drones have begun to form in the services of battalions of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). They include multi-purpose copters, originally created for agricultural work, similar to the well-known "Baba Yaga".

Drones are used to support assault operations. They destroy equipment and destroy fortifications of strongholds by dropping ammunition. In addition, UAVs are capable of remote mining, blocking the enemy's retreat routes.

Agricultural drones can use a variety of ammunition: grenade launcher rounds, mortar mines, anti-tank mines, shaped-charge grenades, and others.

Conditionally, such drones are called agricultural, but, in fact, drones with a certain carrying capacity fall under this classification. As a rule, these are eight-rotor devices - octocopters. They can carry up to several anti-tank mines or comparable ammunition.
