Tutaev Motor Plant (TMZ, a subsidiary of PJSC "KAMAZ") has put into operation new turning and milling machines for the production of a new winch with a force of up to 30 tons. The production of the traction device began in April. This was reported by the press service of the automaker.
Two turning and two milling machines are installed in the cast iron cylinder head section of the mechanical assembly shop. Installation and commissioning works have been successfully completed, as well as testing of the machines for technological accuracy.
Specialists perform mechanical processing of automobile winch parts on new machines. This includes the hydraulic motor support, satellite housing, and other components.
Pavel Yadrenov, a process engineer at Tutaev Motor Plant, explained that preliminary processing of parts is performed on turning machines, and final processing is performed on milling machines. In the future, this equipment can be used to work with engine parts.
