Votkinsk Plant has announced another upgrade of the production equipment of "one of the mechanical assembly shops." In the spring, the company will launch three new CNC lathes, two of which have a bed length of 3 meters, and one has a bed length of 5 meters.
Last year, the plant introduced two vertical milling machining centers, a fixture for automatic argon-arc welding of longitudinal seams, four universal turning and two vertical turning lathes into production.
The supply of new equipment to the workshop began with the acquisition of an automated electron beam welding unit, which allows welding operations to be carried out in a vacuum. It has been working for more than a year and has proven itself well during this time.
