Roscosmos specialists have completed the author's inspection of the Soyuz MS-27 manned spacecraft and completed the work on rolling out the fairing. The technological operations were carried out in the assembly and test complex of Site 254 of Baikonur. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.
Inside the spacecraft, personal belongings of the crew members, food rations, fresh products, and packages for scientific experiments ("Ekon-M", "Interaction-2", "Cascade", "FAGEN", "Cytomechanarium" and "Neuroimmunity") were placed. Soon the cargo will be sent into orbit.
Earlier, the Soyuz MS-27 was docked with the transfer compartment, which is part of the space head of the "Victory Rocket". The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft is scheduled for April 8, timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergei Ryzhikov and Alexei Zubritsky, as well as NASA astronaut Jonathan Kim, will go on board the Soyuz to the International Space Station (ISS). The crew of the manned spacecraft has already begun pre-launch training at the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
