Russia's largest classifieds service, Avito, has announced a significant investment in generative artificial intelligence (AI). Over the next five years, the company plans to invest 12 billion rubles in the development of new technologies. This is expected to increase revenue to 21 billion rubles.
The first results of AI implementation are impressive: in 2024, Avito earned 670 million rubles from implemented solutions. They help automate processes such as creating sales texts and providing recommendations in messengers. Avito uses A-Vibe and A-Vision models, created based on the opensource model Qwen2.5.

The company is also actively developing educational initiatives. In 2024, Avito launched a master's program in Data Science at MIPT and plans to open three more programs with HSE University and ITMO.
