The Ministry of Digital Development stated that Russian software is popular among state organizations

The level of use of domestic software by state-owned companies has exceeded 80%. This was announced by the Ministry of Digital Development (Ministry of Digital Affairs).

The import substitution process continues, taking into account the needs and proposals of market participants, ministry officials said. More and more companies are choosing Russian solutions. For state organizations participating in digital transformation, this figure is more than 80%.

Recently, the head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Maksut Shadaev, said that more than 2/3 of the subjects of critical information infrastructure have already switched to Russian software. At the same time, private companies are not required to transfer their significant facilities to domestic platforms. The requirement applies only to state structures and organizations.

It should be reminded that since 2016, Russia has had a requirement for state purchases of domestic software and operating systems.
