United Wagon Company (UVK) plans to launch a new 19-9592 grain carrier with an axle load of 25 tf. The wagon is scheduled to be certified in the first half of 2025.
The development has been completed and acceptance tests of the 19-9592 grain carrier model have been carried out.
The body volume of the four-axle hopper will be 127 m³, and the carrying capacity of the wagon will be 76.2 tons. While maintaining a relatively similar carrying capacity compared to the 19-9549 grain carrier, the body of the new model will be 7 m³ larger.
Previously, UVK used a cold-formed Powerform 420 alloy from Severstal in welded structures. This made it possible to increase the carrying capacity of the 12-6744 model gondola car by 2 tons.
