The third spacewalk of the Chinese Shenzhou-19 crew took place on March 21. The astronauts concluded that the spacesuits based on the domestic "Orlan-M" function as well as they did at the very beginning, despite the fact that the estimated service life has already passed. The sealed suits were able to withstand more than 15 uses over three years. One of them has already been in space 17 times.
The second-generation Feitian space suit weighs about 130 kilograms and allows you to spend more than 7 hours outside the station, as the third spacewalk showed.
Also, astronauts using spacesuits based on the domestic "Orlan-M" do not have to be afraid of missing a "scheduled lunch". The fact is that each of the suits is equipped with a modern life support system, including food and water.
