Lovit не ловит: тысячи жителей ЖК от ПИК не могут попасть домой третьи сутки из-за сбоя в работе провайдера [Обновлено]

Some residents are temporarily moving in with relatives due to the outage

Thousands of residents in Moscow and St. Petersburg residential complexes built by PIK have been experiencing internet outages for the third day. Lovit, the provider associated with the developer, has been unable to restore access after a DDoS attack, leading to serious problems.

Due to the lack of internet, many residents' intercom apps are not working, making it impossible to open doors remotely. There have also been difficulties exiting the residential complex: the tags for passing through the barriers are not functioning, and security guards have to raise them manually. Residents complain that they cannot work, study, or even leave their homes normally.

Some residents are temporarily moving in with relatives, while others are trying to solve the problem themselves by hanging old routers outside to catch a signal. However, such measures are not always effective, as even mobile internet works poorly in some buildings. Residents suspect that there may be jammers installed in the high-rise buildings, although there is no official confirmation of this.

The main complaint of the residents is related to the monopoly of the Lovit provider. According to them, other operators cannot enter the territory of the residential complex due to the inflated prices for renting equipment and communications, which are set by PIK. This limits choice and makes residents dependent on one service provider.

The provider initially stated that internet access had been fully restored, but later clarified that the service was only working in some of the buildings. Residents are preparing a collective appeal to Roskomnadzor and the FAS, demanding that they investigate the situation and ensure competition in the internet services market in the residential complex.

Updated. The DDoS attack on the internet provider Lovit continues, which may still cause disruptions in its operation. Internet access has been restored, reports Roskomnadzor.

The provider has restored internet access, but due to the ongoing DDoS attack, data transfer speeds may be reduced and some resources on the network may be unavailable
