Экипаж корабля «Союз МС-27» тренируется на Байконуре: первая примерка скафандров

Начались первые тренировки космонавтов и астронавтов в скафандрах перед запуском 8 апреля

Pre-launch training for the Soyuz MS-27 crew has begun at the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

Today, in the assembly and testing facility of Site 254, the cosmonauts and astronauts had their first "fitting" - familiarizing themselves with the cargo placement in the habitation module and the descent module. They practiced some operations in spacesuits.

The flag-raising ceremony for the mission's participating countries will take place tomorrow.

The launch of Soyuz MS-27 is scheduled for April 8. The spacecraft will deliver the main crew of the 73rd long-duration expedition, which includes cosmonauts Sergei Ryzhikov and Alexei Zubritsky, as well as NASA astronaut Johnny Kim. The backup crew consists of cosmonauts Sergei Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev, as well as astronaut Christopher Williams.
