Russian operator T2 has created a network under its own brand in Stavropol Krai. At the initial stage, the company covered cities and small settlements in the region, including railway stations, airports, sanatoriums, hotels and roads.
Operator T2, providing communication services, has started operating in Stavropol Krai. Until the end of the year, the operator's services will be available free of charge to 97% of the region's residents.
Over two years, the company has created more than 1,300 sites that serve as platforms for equipment placement. 3,500 base stations have also been installed, and work is ongoing to expand the infrastructure.
The T2 network coverage area is home to 97% of the population. 7.9 billion rubles were spent on infrastructure development.
In this region, the company has permits to provide communication services in 2G/4G standards at frequencies of 800/1800/2100/2300/2600 MHz. VoLTE and VoWiFi technologies are available to customers. The company announced that residents of Stavropol Krai can test the connection for free until the end of this year.
In the nine months of 2024, mobile operator T2 launched more than 25 thousand base stations. This figure is three times higher than the results of the same period in 2023.
