Decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin

The explanatory note to the document noted that previously none of the federal executive bodies had been granted such powers.

The "IFF" system is a technical complex for automatically distinguishing troops from enemy equipment and forces. As part of the system's operation, air defense elements exchange signals with aircraft. It avoids hitting own combat aircraft.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that specialists turned a kamikaze drone into a missile, accelerating it to 280 km/h.
