AvtoVAZ has stopped working on the completely new Lada T-134. This was reported by insider KhaDm.
The car was supposed to be built on the chassis of the third generation Renault Duster.
The plant has again frozen work on this project. Forever or not, I don't know. Maybe in a couple of months it will unfreeze again, but for now, the activity on creating a new Niva has been stopped again.
As a reminder, a model of the completely new "Niva" was demonstrated to Russian President Vladimir Putin at the end of January during his working trip to AvtoVAZ.
The name T-134 was chosen with reference to the legendary Soviet cars — the T-34 tank and the Tu-134 airliner, which emphasizes the reliability, simplicity and practicality of the model.
Earlier www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ announced a discount of 300 thousand rubles on the new Lada Aura under one condition.
