The SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft with the Crew-9 mission crew, which includes Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov, has successfully undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) for its return to Earth, Roscosmos press service reported.
The ship will also return NASA astronaut Nick Hague and the crew of the first manned mission of the Boeing Starliner spacecraft — astronauts Barry Wilmore and Sunita Williams to Earth.
According to calculations, the Crew Dragon will splash down off the coast of Florida later on March 18.
Earlier, the new Crew-10 crew, which included Russian cosmonaut Kirill Peskov, docked to the ISS. With their arrival, it became possible for the astronauts of the Crew-9 mission, who had been on the station since the end of September 2024, to return. Their mission was delayed due to problems with the Starliner spacecraft, which was supposed to pick up part of the crew, but returned to Earth without people due to technical problems.
