Former Toyota Plant in Shushary Resumes Operations: Aurus Hiring Staff

Recruitment of engineers and specialists has begun, confirming plans to launch production

The former Toyota plant in the village of Shushary (St. Petersburg) has begun recruiting personnel, reports Delovoy Peterburg. It is likely that the company will produce Aurus cars.

The Aurus personnel department is looking for exterior and interior engineers, as well as electrical and electronics specialists. The vacancies indicate that the place of work is Shushary, near the metro, which coincides with the location of the Toyota plant.

The transfer of the site to the Aurus brand was announced in May 2024 by former Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov. The launch of production was planned before the end of the year. However, it later became known that the restart of the plant had been postponed.
