The Aerospace Forces (VKS) of Russia successfully launched the Angara-1.2 carrier rocket from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk Region.
The launch was carried out on Sunday, March 16, at 13:50 Moscow time. The Angara-1.2 light-class carrier rocket put spacecraft into orbit in the interests of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
The launch of the carrier rocket and the deployment of the spacecraft into the calculated orbit proceeded as normal.
The Angara project includes the development of unified launch vehicles that can cover the entire mass range — from light to heavy classes. These carriers are designed to launch various spacecraft, including satellites, spacecraft, and automatic interplanetary stations.
