The Russian artificial intelligence market needs 70,000 graphics processors by 2030. This was stated by Dariy Khalitov, Vice President of Rostelecom. Alexey Kuznetsov, Director of New Cloud Products at MTS Web Services, holds the same assessment.
Currently, there are only about 10,000 graphics processors installed in Russian data centers. In the next five years, it is necessary to increase computing power sevenfold.
The most popular graphics processors for use in the field of AI are Nvidia Tesla A100 and Nvidia Tesla H100. The first video card offers flexible scaling options and can be used in various computing systems. The H100 model, according to Nvidia, is 3–6 times more powerful than the A100.
Investments in the Russian AI market over the past ten years amounted to 650 billion rubles. According to experts, artificial intelligence is actively being implemented in business, and 95% of companies are already using AI technologies.
The video card market is also demonstrating impressive growth, and is expected to increase 6-7 times by 2030, which corresponds to the growing needs of the AI sector.
