Moscow and the Moscow region are expected to experience precipitation, icy conditions, and a drop in temperature in the coming days, so motorists should not yet change their winter tires to summer tires. This was announced by the Hydrometcenter.
Although the temperature remains positive during the day, it is negative at an altitude of 1–1.5 km, which means that the snow does not have time to melt and falls as wet snow, creating conditions for icy conditions.
Summer tires are not designed for such weather. Muscovites who have already changed their tires should not go to their dachas yet
The weather forecaster recommended waiting at least five to six days before changing tires, until the situation on the roads stabilizes.
