Avito has launched testing of a new temporary employment service, Avito Gig (Avito Gig Solutions LLC).
The service will help business clients find temporary specialists to perform urgent tasks, and performers to find part-time work with quick payment for completed tasks. The service is aimed at simplifying interaction between the two parties: customers who solve the problem of staff shortages, and performers who get the opportunity to flexibly plan their schedule and manage income.
Avito Gig is integrated with the latest version of the Avito mobile application, and in the future it is planned to expand to the web version of the site. Currently, the platform hosts shifts from large retailers in Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar and Nizhny Novgorod. Performers can choose shifts that are available until March 30.
All processes, including shift selection, registration for it, confirmation of self-employment status, verification of a medical book and receipt of payment, take place online, which significantly speeds up and simplifies the entire process. Payment for completed work is received by performers within 24 hours after confirmation of completion of the shift by the customer. The service also compensates for the cost of medical books and provides bonuses to new users. The launch of insurance products for both parties is planned in the near future.
