In Telegram channels, fraudsters are spreading phishing links that attract attention with their "catchy" headlines. This was warned by the Department for Organizing the Fight Against Illegal Use of Information and Communication Technologies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Law enforcement officials explained that "clickbait" plays on the emotions of fear, curiosity, and surprise, often uses understatement and creates a sense of urgency. Now it is used by news portals, bloggers, marketers, and fraudsters.

Earlier www1.ru reported that cybercriminals had come up with a new way to deceive — they began to use malicious attachments in the form of archives that contain phishing links.
